Dan LaBert is the Executive Director of the Bar Association of Lehigh County (BALC). He brings over 12 years experience in management and public relations from the non-profit sector.

Prior to joining BALC, Dan was Senior Director of Public Relations and

Advertising for WLVT-PBS 39 in Bethlehem, PA.  While there, he oversaw

the Public Relations, Programming and Information Technology

Departments.  He provided leadership and direction, built various

partnerships in all facets of the community and handled all market

ing efforts.

Before joining WLVT-PBS 39, Dan served in a variety of positions for The

Leadership Institute, a thirty year old non-profit political training

organization located in the Washington DC area.  He was responsible for

leading five divisions within the company's infrastructure. Highlights

include increasing overall membership of the organization and training

seminar participants by more than 40%.  Dan has also trained more than

9,000 Leadership Institute members including 1,000 elected officials.

Dan’s background includes quite a bit of time spent in the political arena.  He has appeared on MSNBC, Fox News Channel, CNN, MTV and Comcast Sports advocating a variety of national issues.  In 2001, his activism went across the Atlantic to Europe where he organized and directed an international event that advocated the United States position on “Global Warming” in conjunction with the White House Administration.

A graduate of Penn State University, Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Before transferring to Penn State, Dan attended the University of Buffalo on a full athletic scholarship in football.  In 2002, Dan launched his own weekly television show and web site that focused on the popular industry of fantasy football.  He now appears on “Pro Football Plus” airing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as, his own radio show on ESPN affiliate WPPA 1360.

Dan is a member of the Board of Directors for "Embrace Your Dreams” and the “Lehigh Valley Coalition on Sport Ethics.”  He is also a graduate of Leadership Lehigh Valley.

North Penn Legal Services provides free legal aid services on civil cases to low-income families, individuals, and groups in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
